When you reinvent yourself as a person who reflects more the person you truly feel you are on the inside, you have to let the old self die. You have to cut through the briars into uncharted territory as every tense muscle strung throughout your body is resisting the change. It will grab you and say, “Change is painful. Let’s stay the same.”
You have to know within yourself that this new life that you envision is worth it. Without guarantees. Without validation.
